La gamme des Rouanez (Rouanez; reine, en breton) a été crée à partir de 2019, en s’inscrivant dans notre démarche BIO. Toutes les Rouanez sont brassées en BIO, et respectent le The Rouanez range (Rouanez; queen, in Breton) was created from 2019, as part of our ORGANIC approach. All Rouanez are brewed organically, and respect the Reinheitsgebot.
Le Reinheitsgebot, décret allemand qu’on peut traduire par Loi de pureté de la bière, date de 1516; il précise les ingrédients autorisés : eau, orge, et houblon uniquement (la levure, bien qu’indispensable et présente dans les bières, ne faisait pas partie des ingrédients connus à l’époque).
La Rouanez a Galon
Blonde beer with bitterness and citrus aromas (5.8%)
Cette bière est une bière blonde: brewed with a single barley malt, it lets the hops express their bitterness and citrus aromas.
Part of the hops and malt comes from Brittany. We try to promote the local market as much as possible: part of the hops come from the Fréhel hop farm, and part of the malt comes from Brittany.

La Rouanez Aour
Amber beer with bitterness and aromas of red fruits (7%)
This beer is an amber beer: brewed with three malts of barley and rye, it lets the hops express their bitterness and their aromas of red fruits. It is inspired by triple beers.
Rouanez Aour is a beer that won the silver medal in the 2019 Brittany regional beer competition, for strong beers.

Dark beer with coffee aroma (5.5%)
Rouanez Du is a dark beer: the coffee aromas of roasted malt mingle with the sweetness of oats. Alcohol 5.5%.
